Interfaith Sanctuary is currently seeking a full-time Overnight Team Member. We serve people of all genders, races, religions, and sexual orientation, as well as families with children by providing safe overnight shelter, case management and programs to assist with their transition out of homelessness.\nThe Overnight Team Member plays a very important role for our homeless guests. The position is\n...\nhands on, making a difference, being part of changing a person's life.\nYou are there to help guests manage the rules of the shelter, navigate their own personal needs and provide a healthy and safe shelter environment for the guests, volunteers and other staff members in a respectful, compassionate and dignified way.\n\u00b7 Must be dependable and exhibit authority in a kind, calm manner\n\u00b7 Must be comfortable working with guests who struggle with addiction and mental health\n\u00b7 Must consistently communicate and uphold shelter policies and procedures.\n\u00b7 Must be a team player and willing to help where it is needed\nNightly responsibilities will include:\n\u2022 Shelter security\n\u2022 Manage guest hospitality needs\n\u2022 Assist supervisor as needed\n\u2022 Provide facility maintenance (Including Laundry)\n\u2022 Inputting guest data into our database via HMIS\n\u2022 Directly reports to Overnight Shift Lead/Shelter Director\nCompensation: $18 per hour; HRA card for medical reimbursements, health, dental & vision insurance available after 60 days; vacation & sick time\nTo Apply: Along with your resume, please provide a brief reason why you want to work with the homeless community and feel that you would be a good fit for this position.
