Darigold is looking to fill a Mix Maker position to be a part of Darigold\u2019s Boise Team. The bulk milk mix maker must possess the desire and ability to manage milk processing operations in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner. This position is res\n...\nponsible for following all Food Safety and Quality requirements as outlined in Darigold\u2019s Good Manufacturing Policy, in conformance with the position\u2019s Standard Operating Procedures, and in accordance with facility training sessions and materials. The position is also required to report any concerns that may impact Food Safety or Quality to their immediate supervisor, the Plant Quality Manager or the Plant Manager.\nShift: Wednesday- Saturday (half shift Wednesday) from 6:00pm-6:30am\nWhat You Will Do:\n\u2022 Safe, efficient Milk Silo Management and Monitoring\n\u2022 Safe, efficient operation of the separator/pasteurizer in accordance with the facility food safety program\n\u2022 Safe, efficient and productive ingredient utilization\n\u2022 Monitoring and maintaining Batching to Production Timeline\n\u2022 Professional and effective communications with internal and external process customers\n\u2022 Coordination of the production plan in alignment with the daily timeline; ensures proper planning and delivery of daily schedule\n\u2022 Inspecting and monitoring the Batching process ensuring proper operation and delivery\n\u2022 Manage and monitoring of numerous complex equipment units.\n\u2022 Maintaining and monitoring any required ingredient inventory necessary to coordinate with 24 hour production plan\n\u2022 Able to identify and solve problems in equipment and batching operations\n\u2022 Develops a cross functional understanding of the Control Room Operations\n\u2022 Ensures Regulatory Conformance and meets all requirements related to ingredient traceability.\n\u2022 Demonstrates the ability to train others\n\u2022 Maintaining organization of the work area and performing ongoing cleaning tasks in compliance with good manufacturing and warehouse practices\n\u2022 Cleaning and Sanitizing the Batching area in accordance with GMP and Food Safety standards; Completion Rate of 95% or better for all assigned MSS and PMS tasking\n\u2022 Assisting Maintenance members in routine maintenance and repairs in the assigned area\nWhat You Bring:\n\u2022 Ideal candidate would have experience in the Receiving/Processing side of the facility\n\u2022 Must have capability to coordinate the Batching and Mixing of bulk milk product\n\u2022 Must have familiarity with the Mix Making Process\n\u2022 Understanding of Ingredient Inventory standards and Lot Tracking\n\u2022 Understanding of operation SOPs and operation importance\n\u2022 Ability to coordinate mixing operation with control room planning for contingency and variance\n\u2022 Must maintain awareness and alertness to ensure expedient response to any anomalies in production\n\u2022 Must be able to stand/walk for 12 hours; Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level and above shoulder height\n\u2022 Ability to organize and analyze process problems; Strong Computer experience for reporting and communication\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to read and follow directions\n\u2022 Must be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision\n\u2022 Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes, Quality Process, and Must be able to monitor and inspect product and equipment\n\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred\nBenefits of Working at Darigold\nWe understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
